Lush forested area, room with view of the beach and an overall relaxing accommodation. Superhosts doesn't begin to describe the two owners. They were the most accommodating hosts I've ever had. Being friemdly and nice to these two goes far.Stanwell Park has steep cliffside that descends to the beach. The bnb is built into the side of the mountain. Going down the steep driveway you start the experience with beautiful plant life and as you walk down the pathway to the house you feel like you're in a rainforest. As a warning there are stairs and steep walking throughout Stanwell Park.I stayed in the spa suite which had a sitting room, walk in closet, bathroom with a spa and shower, and of course a bedroom. The bnb is a short walk to the beach, wodi wodi hiking trail and other walking trails. Breakfast is available at the bnb and there are plenty of options for lunch around the main street however dinner options are sparse and if you want something fancy you'll have to drive 15 to 20 mins.I really enjoyed staying here, chatting with Ian and Matt and relaxing in this beautiful spot.
The owner of the house is very kind and friendly, with a beautiful and comfortable environment. All the plants in the house are real and carefully cultivated.
We love these guys and this b&b. The place and setting is friendly, warm and relaxing. We think this is the only place to stay in town.
Had the most perfect night away all responsible due to this absolutely gorgeous home and amazing mans welcoming ways. The home itself is jaw dropping, a tiny walk to the beach and feeling like youre living in a rainforest with those views, a lovely spa bath and even a cute little cat companion in the home! Ian is one of the most beautiful people Ive come across in this lifetime and goes completely out of his way to make sure you and whoever you are staying with feels welcome and looked after. Could not of asked for a better getaway with my man. Would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to see the beauty in this world and feeling at home where youre staying. Ian even helped my partner pick the most gorgeous bunch of flowers Ive ever seen and some champagne to give me and not to mention he makes the best mushrooms in this universe! Feeling absolutely spoilt and blessed after this trip away and coming back with a huge smile on my face, thank you Ian! If I could give you a million starts I would.
Beautiful house located just a few minutes from the beach. We stayed in the room upstairs and it was very spacious and clean with views over a park. We could also see glimpses of the beach. Ian is a fantastic host and he made us feel very welcome. Great cook too. Just an all round legend.
