Stanwell Park, New South Wales 2508

Service seemed pleasant enough but food was absolutely terrible and massively overpriced. We tried several dishes and only three fish and chips were passable. Will definitelydefi be eating here again.

The kiosk is a mere shadow of its former self and I wish it wasnt true. The food is way over priced and takes forever and is at best average quality, on Australia Day the parks were full and the kiosk was empty and yet my order was still lost and took over half an hour....no one else in the kiosk. Its great to see the reno and young staff but it is severely lacking experienced hands, if I had to change one thing I would shell out for a good experienced chef to run the place. Sorry guys I really dont like giving bad reviews but I want to see this place succeed.

I really wanted to love this place as I know most other people living in Stanwell park did too.The location and the place is great but It is with great regret that I have to say the food is not just terrible it is inedible.Firstly as it was a new business myself and family wanted to support it coming to the area and as such have been there 4 times now since it opened.EVERY single time for a start they have got the order wrong which I find astonishing as there are only 5 things on the menu.Secondly when you do eventually get your cold wrong order 45 minutes later it is REALLY bad.The burger itself is like cardboard coupled with a stale bagel ( why a bagel) it has a hole in the middle! Coupled with the scabbiest looking bacon you could find.So tried the fish and chips, how bad can fish and chips be we thought.. Turns out you can do a truly rotten fish and chips.Tried the chicken cesar wrap and surprise surprise. Stale wrap, cold chicken and some thick awful cesar sauce mix.To add the final insult to injury they charge you $19 for the privilege of eating possibly the worst burger ever made.So in summary to the people who are running this, Please please please give up that lease to someone who knows what they are doing and give the people of Stanwell park somewhere good to eat on the beach because you guys are not.

New building lovely, food quite good and nicely cooked but limited menu. They did say they will be updating the menu shortly, so hopefully there will be a bit more choice. Benches at the front have no shade yet, but on the verandah it was very pleasant with some breeze even at a muggy ambient temperature of 27C. I miss the grilled steak and fish options of the old cafe, but we live in hope with their roomy new facilities.

Really nice looking place. I had the smashed avocado quality was excellent but they really need to work on their coffee... the term dish wash water comes to mind, but its early days yet and I'm sure they will get it right.
